The Open Institute is a local non-governmental and not-for-profit organization whose mission is to ensure that the benefits of technology for social and economic advance are usable in Cambodian society. It presently runs six programs: E-learning, Open Schools, KhmerOS, Women, Lexicography and Publications.

The main goal of the E-Learning program is to empower educational institutions on the design, implement and manage distance education programs through e-learning by:

• Creating the necessary infrastructure and resources for the design, implementation and management of e-learning projects.
• Supporting educational institutions in the successful planning and development of their e-learning projects.
• Ensuring quality of e-learning education by partner institutions.

The Open Institute is seeking a qualified candidate for the Training Coordinator position of the E- Learning Program.

1. Main Responsibility

• To organize and manage the e-learning development and management training activities of the program, directed at building e-learning know-how capacity in Cambodia.

2. Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor degree of Education or equivalent.
• Two years of experience on the designing, implementing, delivering and monitoring of educational projects, better if related to distance education.
• Have a broader perspective of the use of e-learning for access to education and quality of education.
• A good level of computer literacy (Email, Internet, Mailing lists, online forums, blogs, etc.).
• Teaching experience will be positively considered.
• Speak and write good Khmer and English languages.

3. Working condition and Salary

• This position is full time employment and recruitment is as soon as possible.
• Be able to travel to the provinces and outside of the country in short notice.
• Attractive salary will be offered base on experience and qualifications.
