Open Schools Program - About US

The Open Schools Program - Cambodia is a joint project of the the Open Institute and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Royal Government of Cambodia (MoEYS), who are working together to use ICT to improve the quality of education.

The Open Institute is a not-for-profit non-governmental organisation that believes that development requires the widespread use of technology, which only occurs when the technology is in local language, and embedded in the standard processes for formal and non-formal learning.

The Chairman of the Open School Program team is H.E. Dr. Nath Bunroeun, Secretary of State at MoEYS, and Chairman of the ICT in Education Committee.

Program Mananagers are Mr. Sok Tha (Chief of the ICT in Education Office, MoEYS) and Mr. Javier Solá (Open Institute).

As Open and Distance Learning Coordinators, Mr. Sok Tha and Ms. Kong Sidaroth (Open Institute).

Ms. Heng Chantheng as Planning and Evaluation Coordinator.

As training coordinators:
